Default RE: WV Triple Crown

goldenarm, i would like to thank you for coming to the shoot this year, sorry for your confusion. i spoke with one of the other clubs in January and was ask if we would object to raising the fee to 30.00. i was told both the other clubs wanted to do so. so after discussing the price increase at a board meeting Huntington archery agreed to charge to 30.00. there was no flyer from Huntington archery that said 25.00. lumberport's flyer said 25.00 but that must have been an oversight on Harold's part. he said it would be changed. as for profit, we charged 30.00 entry fee pd ibo 5.00, put in 7.00 per shooter for cash payout, 5.00 per shooter for the overall awards and 5.00 for our share of the belt buckles. that's 22.00 we paid out. that leaves the club with 8.00 for profit. try to run a club on less profit. last year we sent the agreed 5.00 per shooter to cover the overall awards and the buckles were donated, so you must be misinformed where the buckles came from. there was water on the coarse about half way between target 1 and 20 on the first coarse and the second coarse had only 10 targets which started at the club and ended at the club where water was available. sorry you didn't like our range, but seems like someone is always unhappy. i don't like the 30.00 fee but that was agreed upon by all 3 ranges.i will not shoot because of it, but that is my choice. i will be at the other 2 shoots but wont shoot in the competition. i would like to say we received the most good comments on this years shoot than any before. good luck in the future. malcolm sowards
