Default RE: Shooting in a string??????

Chad,

In all honesty, I make my endless strings to exactly fit a particular bow. What I want when I'm done is a a top loop that is snug enough that you don't need a string keeper when it's unstrung, and the brace height is dead on without having to twist the string.

Sometimes it takes me two or three tries to get it just right for a new bow. After that, the jig gets marked and I can just "crank them out".

If a person were to make a "one size fits all" endless string that required a lot of twisting to get right, it'd probably take the same amount of time to settle in as a flemish would.
