thanx r33h. i was thinking about which mount style would be the most durable. based on looks alone id have to go with a drill and tape! lol. i got a side saddle on my 590 home defense gun....but it hold 6 rounds
i dont know how the scope saddles mount..im guessing they are screwed in like my shell side saddle..i dont know..in the end i think the drill and tap will be cheaper too...
i looked at nikons online. i got a set of binocs. i really like them and they werent even really expensive. its definently going to be a good name scope...leupold or nikon most likely. i want to actually see some scopes but most places here dont carry a big variety..maybe ill make a trip to cabelas or somewhere. i just dont want cheap glass on anything that recoils. i has a problem with a tasco shotgun scope on my 30-06...bought a leupold and wont look back. too important to skimp on IMO.
leupold used to make a really nice looking reddot...although i hate batteries i think for a shotgun pattern they would work well..
decisions decisions...the bow makeover is first...then its onto the shotgun. but the time will be here quick and i want it done this summer or i'll never get to it...i know with a scope on my gun id have a taxidermist bill right now...still kickin myself...glad i got the bird...but id loved to have him mounted

oh well im 20...more birds are in my future
