Let me be one from the "Darkside". To me there's nothing like a whitetail. I've been turkey hunting for 25 years. If you've never been sitting there in the pre-dawn gloom listening to a bunch of gobblers sound off you haven't lived. If you haven't outsmarted a smart old bird you haven't lived. If you haven't watched him come gobbling and struttin' in you haven't lived. They just RATTLE the whole countryside....... I love it.... but they're not a whitetail IMO. AND... they don't eat nearly as well either. In fact... I try to give every one I shoot away.
