its 10 times worse...ive never shot but in the 4 seasons ive hunted had a decint number of birds within shooting distance..all had obsticals in front of them or came where i couldnt see and fooled us basically..but the rush from having them that close is greater than shooting any deer...ive shoot 3 does and a 6pt so far and even my first buck didnt give my half the rush that working a longbeard does..a million thoughts run through your head like..should i call again? what call should i use? soft or loud? aggressive or calm? oh! he gobbled hes coming closer! where was he?? where should i put the gun so im ready??? oh no! was that another one i heard?!? i think i see a head!..millions of things just jumbling together...your hearts pounding...you start shaking when you know hes closing the gap...then you see him gobbling his head of...struting around looking for you(the hen) and then you decide..............its the best..nothing can compare...i dont care ive never killed a bird..i was calling longbeards when i was 15...sure some kids start younger but i never wanted to call in the woods until last year after i felt i perfected my calls...i called in a hen one day and multiple bearded birds...none gave me a shot but the hen and the one set of birds i called came after we thought they left and we heard them gobble once they came to where we were and we came back..set up i called one into about 30 yds and let dad take over but there was a jagur patch between us all i seen was the giant baseball sized red head and he went around it and kept going up the hill because my dad quit calling to early!!!! o well thats hunting and i love it
