Default RE: Moth Problems, What do you do?

Hey guys,

There is a moth out there that will eat tanned hides and the hair on them. I can't remember the name of it but will try to find out and let you know. A frined or ours (a biologist)who is also a taxidermist has run accross it in Missouri. The only way to kill the eggs, larva, and moth is to put the whole mount if possible into a freezer for at least a day (24 hours) fumigating will not work ont he eggs. This process will also kill Dermistids.
