yeah 12 gauge definitly. if you go duck or goose hunting the 12 will be alot better, i know some kids that use 20 gauge for it(only cuz of there size) and they cant take as far of shots and are at a big disadvantage. i think 12 gauge is a better turkey and deer gun too.
