The Slammerheads will NOT open until they strike the target. You really need a mech with a band and not any that react with retention clips of inertia. The best way to test this is to order a cheap inexpensive piece of shoot through mesh and stretch it across your paper tuner, that's exactly what we did.We fireddozens of differentb-head designsout to 30-35 yards at the Block and a 3D deer just to see how different heads reacted.
