RE: Ruger No.1
Last year I traded a rifle for a S/S w/Laminated stock Ruger #1 in 45/70. Before trading I met the guy at the range and took a couple shots with it. I hit a little low, the shots were about .75" apart.He hadn't modified the rifle but handloaded several different loads until he found the right one.All the Ruger #1's I've ever seen have been very accurate.A great single shot,at a reasonable price.
