Just two days left to hunt turkeys and I'm still picking and selling mushrooms. I guess it's time to get some food plots ready for fall now and get ready to switch to trout, and bassfishing until the fall hunting seasons begin again. I've got 4-5 hunters from Maine who say they're gonna book a bowhunt as soon as they decide who's coming and I had a promissing conversation with two guys from Alabama yesterday who were here to turkey hunt. It seems the deer are small in "Bama" and they own a few acres near me, but not enough for all the friends who want to come and knock down some of those 170 class bucks they've been bringing home.
