first off, you ain't gonna make much money from trappin, but don't let that discourage you. its a great sport and a great thing to get into. there are several websites that are great for new trappers to go to. www.traps4kids.com is a good one even if you ain't a kid, lots of good info. also www.trapperman.com is full of experienced trappers from all over the states. another one called the bucket of guts www.fishgut.proboards25.com is my favorite. both the bucket of guts and trapperman have forums where guys sell used traps and equipment for usually pretty reasonable prices. good way to get started. if you're looking to buy new stuff check out minnesota trapline products. internet address escapes me now, but they have lots of good stuff including all that you'll need to put up your fur. videos are a good way to start learning if you don't have someone to teach you. most of what money you get for your furs is going to depend on how well you put them up. buyers aren't going to pay much for a rotted greasy pelt with the hair slipping out. good luck trappin hope i've been a help feel free to hit me up with a pm. if i don't know an answer for ya i might be able to find somebody that does.
