lots of good fishing around montgomery, millers ferry at camden alabama, cooters pond on the alabama river at prattville, and one of my favorites lakes in the country, Eufaula, about an hour east of montgomery,in fact i'll be down that way for a tournament on merorial day W/E, always enjoy it, BTW, they also have some of them big corn fed lizards on eufaula and millers ferry, oh yea almost forgot mitchell which is straight up I65 in clanton, small lake that is fun to fish, lots of crappie and spotted bass
