RE: Tight Nocks
IMO, that test is something that is better left to fingers shooters than release shooters. Fingers shooters have more control over the arrow nock than release shooters. I think release shooters need their nocks to fit a bit more snug than that. You certainly don't want to have them too tight, but youdon't want the nocks falling off the string during the draw either. A light snap that won't let the arrow fall off with a finger tap but doesn't give more than a hint of resistance when you pull the nock off the string, that's about how I describe what I go for for release shooting.
