I GET the point of your postings. But I think you overdid it on the first one with the tongue and cheek bit, and then you have to read other postings to figure out the use of sarcasm. Maybe I am slow, but I think most people are not expecting a satirical piece of writing on a message board bashing the use of treestands.
I stand hunt and sometimes wish I could do more stalking, but as the point of your posting indicates, you play the hand you're dealt.
I guess I was trying to stir the pot.
It seems that most of the folks that bothered to read more than the first post got my point eventually. I think some people are so closed minded they will never understand or agree with any form of hunting except their own. Others really are more interested in expressing their opinions more than reading others opinions and those are the folks who read my first post and then blasted away at it without bothering to read any of the others.
Not sure if I accomplished anything in the end result. The people that are open minded read the thread and remained that way and the people that are closed minded read the thread and remained that way.
Oh well, I tried!
