The original Charter Arms were okay for the money. Not sure about the new ones. I never owned a C.A. Bulldog but have had a C.A.Undercover (38spl) for a long time.If you only shoot it on occassions and use it as a carry gun you shouldn't have problems. If you want a gun to shoot often I would get a better made gun with a heavier frame.
