Default RE: Quieter Trykon XL......

Change the string.

The Fuse string that comes stock on the Trykons has a noticeable amount of "Twang" to it.

I changed mine to a VaporTrail string and cable set and the bow was significantly quieter.
Another thought is to change the StringShox with the Extreme String Leeches. IMHO the Leeches work better.

I have the 2 piece quiver on my Tryk XL and it makes no noise I can hear. That being said, I still prefer a detachable quiver when hunting from a stand. For spot and stalk, the 2 piece can't be beat.

As far as the weight goes the Trykon XL is simply a heavy bow. Adding a quiver full of arrows will do nothing to help that fact.
I have found that on my XL a Sims modulare stabilzer with the standard 3 modules provides the correct balance without being too heavy.
