Default RE: When do you start shed hunting?

I will spend all day out shed hunting. I usually work deer trails. Last year was my best year, I found about 13 singles, and one set. But, that is nothging compared to another guy I know. He goes out and will find 100 in a year. I just can't talk him into telling me his secret. You have to have a good eye and a set of binoculars. Using binos will save you a lot of walking. I have found some while driving by and glassing a wheat field. I have heard you can take a couple of hog panels and put them together on one end at about 35 degrees apart. Load the middle up with corn and when the bucks try to get to the corn, it will knock off any antlers that are about to come off. Never tried it, but it sounds like it will work. Now that there is cwd in boarding states I am afraid to bait deer anymore.
