I let nature take her course... and she did. I fed the bird a half loaf of bread each day this week and he liked that and seemed to be doing OK. However it's been pretty cold lately and the open water space was reduced to an area about 6ft X 15ft. Today I found a large number of animal paw prints right down to the water's edge and no goose. I suspect that coy dogs or a fox got it. I couldn't make out what kind of tracks they were. Seadog
