I was out snowshoeing yesterday and I discovered a wounded Canada goose wintering in a small area of open water in a nearby swamp. It had been "winged" and couldn't fly. This area will be frozen over soon, making the goose vulnerable to predators. My main thought is to let nature take its course. An alternative is to take this bird with my .22 rifle: safe, clean and effective. I can get within 50 feet. What would you do? Seadog
