Carrying a Handgun to keep someone from taking a deer away from me is not the main reason I carry a Handgun.
I carry a Handgun to keep someone from trying to rob or kill me!
That is what I had mainly in mind when starting this topic.
It may be a slim chance of it happening while hunting but it is possible and does in this world we live in today.
