Your thought brought up a question I have. "I" place my "trigger" finger (index) behind the trigger during the draw and only move it in front JUST before I'm getting ready to shoot (and I shoot a Scott, if that makes ANY difference). that's the best safeguard I know of to NOT send an arrow.I was never taught this...just do it. Is this SOP?
