ORIGINAL: Underclocked

Discounting shipping costs - the bullets you chose will cost a bit over 62 cents each.

An alternative would be two packs of http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=00072H15045BRfor 10.22 and a box of http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/item.asp?sku=0000345160for 16.54. Total for 100 projectiles - 26.76 or about 27 cents per.

Or you could go with the green crushed rib for .44 and 100 of the Speer .429 bullets for just a bit more.

Nothing at all wrong with the bullets you chose, just like to see people consider the economics. You might want to shoot a LOT!

DaveChandler, I use the same sabot and the same Hornady XTP 300gthat Underclocked does. They are great for practice, some use them for hunting, I use Nosler Partitions 300g for hunting because the Hornady tends to separate the jacket from the bullet producing less penetration. The economics are important, because you have to get comfortable with your ML gun, if you shoot $1 bullets you will NOT get comfortable with your gun. So buy some Hornady, sight in with them, shoot a lot with them and then go over to your hunting bullet about 2 months before ML season or you can do what I do I buy 300g Hornady XTPs and 300g Gold Dot and 300g Nosler Partitions and they all group about the same in my rifles so I tend to use the Hornady and Gold Dot for paractice and the Noslers for hunting. I also will after this season switch over to Gold Dot for hunting and just shoot Gold Dot out of my Knight Disc, my TC Omega and my TC 1:48 FL. I use the 300g because they have more down range energy and shoot thru the deer for an excellent blood trail, 240g and 250g do NOT shoot thru the deer based on my experience. Chap
