Default RE: 2007 Elk Muzzleloader Drop Camp- Need an Outfitter

2 pp's won't guarentee you a muzzleloader tag. I met hunters last yr. in camp that had 3, and were turned down! But if you recieve one, or might want to even book a hunt, and just do the otc archery anyways. It runs same wk. Check out Winterhawk outfitters. I was there last fall for archery, and I had a awesome time. I'm going back in 2008, my hunts alreadly booked. They had some decent drop camps, and we stayed at some midday to warm up & nap. They are way in from base camp, and pack all your gear in & out. Provide you with a radio, and you have to check in daily for safety purposes. They are a family run outfit, been in business over 20yrs. They've been on theOutdoor channel several times with The Wild Outdoors, Hunters Journal, and Babe Winkleman. Check them out, Larry's a great guy.
