Me and my dad are gonna make a trip around May 8 to the Black Hills of South Dakota..Gonna be all public land hunting..And it is a 22 hour drive for us and so we REALLY need to get a bird!

Have read that there are 1.2million acres of public land here.. Have heard Hill City mentioned more than once as a good starting point..

Can anyone shoot me a message about a spot or two that might me worthwhile? Or at least some counties that have good hunting..
