Two serious trophy bowhunters are looking for a third hunter to join us in Pike County Illinois for a 6 day hunt beginning at noon on November 4 and ending at noon on November 10, 2007.

Our normal hunting partner can't make it this year, so we are looking for a solid replacement for this year.

We have paid to access to two private farms in Pike county and a third in Schuyler county. About 400 acres total.

The landowner is allowing a very limited number of bowhunters on his land. This is the first time hunters are allowed on this property (previously just hunted by family). Our group will be the FIRST group to hunt the property this year (i.e., no groups are before us). These properties have not been previously leased by any outfitter.

This is new property to us this year. In my search for new property, I had several goals:

[ul][*]Legitimate potential opportunity at a trophy animal[*]Very limited hunting pressure[*]Reasonable cost - $1500 for the week[/ul][/align]The hunter must be an ethical, scent-conscious, non-smoker who can legitimately pass up bucks grossing less than 130" P&Y (i.e., 130" minimum).

This is a do-it-yourself hunt, no guides, do our own scouting, hang our own stands. We will ALL have opportunities to hunt any of the stands that we, as a group, will hang. We want all three of us to have an equal shot at a trophy.
