Never even took a deer this archery season but it wasn't for the lack of opportunity. I passed over a dozen decent bucks looking for the one I wanted and I would rather go home empty handed than to settle for something I honestly didn't want just to say I shot one. If we don't pass the small ones and tag out, we'll never have the opportunity for a larger one. Nothing against those who do otherwise...



Deep down, everyone here is a trophy hunter....if two bucks stood at 20 yards broadside, a huge 10 and a small 4, absolutely no one here would shoot the 4 point....all things being equal....
