You may want to consider the ACC arrow shaft. They are spendy, but they are extremely resilient. The aluminum/carbon composite shaft (hybrid) is designed for supreme straightness and duribility. They are lightweight, so I shoot the heaviest of the acc series for hunting. The 3-71's topped with 100 grain two blade steelforce heads. With my entire set up I am shooting about 450 grains total. My fps is 272 chronographed and my KE was in the upper 70's if I remember correctly. I have harversted elk, deer and bear with mine, not to mention the mass repetitions of target practice. I am most impressed with their duribility and consistency. Since using them I have never noticed one arrow flying slightly different that another.
