Some people may disagree, but the Tri-Tronics Retriever training may be good for you if you need to use e-collars, I dont use them, but read the book, it does also basic and finished dog work. I disagree with your opinion Doc E, Waterdog always has and always will be a great book, I have worked the numbers over with my pup, who now, at 7 months is always complemented upon for being so well behaved, and does great work in the feild and on the water. Just goes to show the old and proven ways are not usually the best, but certainly not the worst.
