If I had the choose either to use the real thing or an artificial lure it would probably be the real deal. But alot of the places that I fish are not all that easy to get to, so I usually stick with artificial and usually successfull doing so. But if Im fishing a creek or near a creek where I can catch my bait, then it would be a different story.
