Default RE: target panic

If you have the dreaded TP bad don't expect a miracle cure.
Turc gives some good advice.
I personally would go to the blank bale.
Take your sight off your bow!!!!!!! Stand about 6-8yds in front of a blank target and shoot with your eyes closed totally relaxed. With no thoughts in your mind feel the shot.
You want to feel what the perfect release feels like,as the shot goes off leave your eyes closed a few seconds, feel the follow through.
It can take days, weeks, months to get rid of TP(I've been there).
After shooting blank bale for a while eyes shut, open them (still no sight on the bow) just shoot at the target not worrying where you hit JUST FEEL the shot, burn into your mind what it feels like.Just take your time shoot 1 ARROW AT A TIME don't try to shoot groups.
After you begin to feel comfortable put the sight back on and begin shooting short distances(still one arrow at a time)This is where Turcs info comes in pick your spot and just hold on the target and let down, then the next time hold on the target and let your subconcious mind release the arrow.
It takes time and serious dedication to overcome some severe forms of TP.
If you try to many things at once it will do nothing but get worse.
One sure fire way to get on the right track is to find someone in your area that uses a triggerless BACK TENSION release, learn to shoot one and it will help you (TRUST ME).
Good Luck and take your time.
