I really like these heads....Killed a few deer with it this year, big cutting diameter, great blood trail, and quick recoveries....
However, before I killed these deer, I missed one. Reason being that I was shooting a 390 grain Maxima Hunter at 314 fps. I hadnt shot one to practice because I was told they fly just like a field tip. This is true, but at speeds like that, they open up in flight, then go crazy. I switched to a heavier arrow, and everything else was great.

Mac87, how fast are you shooting.....the guy at my bow shop said they will open up on you when you get to 305 or faster.
