Default RE: Roundball Barrels

Well, cayugad, you got me interested in moose with a flintlock. I was curious how the heavier bullets would work out of the GPR. I'll try the rest of them out to see how things go. I havesome 240 grpowerbelts, 240 xtp's and some 355 TC Maxi Hunters yet to try. I don't think either of them are decent moose medicine. If the TC MaxiHunters shoot ok then I'll get some TC MaxiBalls to see if they shoot well. After all that, I'll steal myDeerStalker back from my young fella and do it all over again. I already know what I would use in the Omega (209 Win Primer, 2x50 gr T7 Pellets, 340 gr PR Dead Center), but if I can get some decent groups with a flinter with the heavier bullets, I would take it moose hunting this fall. I know that a ball would do it, but I would feel more comfortable with a bigger piece of lead in the tube for moose. Deer, roundball all the way this year.
