Default RE: Stryker Crossbow Question

[:@] I'm one of those first few owners of a Stryker x-bow. I'd be happy to share my initial feelings about the bow and the company.

I bought and paid for my new bow from their wonderful dealer "Jerry's Archery" in Stockton, CA in February. We received my bow in March. The only thing they shipped was the bow, four target arrows and the red dot scope. Nothing else. No accessories or cocking crank. The dealer and I both called the manufacturer in OR. At first they the woman answering the phones refused to allow me to speak to anyone. She insisted the dealer would have to call. With a little insistence, I was given to customer service. I was assured by Matthew it was a simple oversight and they'd send the accessory pack out immediately. No delivery. The next week we called again and I couldn't get to Matthew but was assured this person would follow up and get my accessory pack out immediately. No delivery. I called again the next week and was again told they'd send the missing equipment out immediately, with a baseball cap for my troubles. No delivery. I called again the next week and was told the guy I had been dealing with was no longer with the company. After explaining all the issues again to a new person (John), he assured me he would immediately have the accessory's sent, Overnite Air, with the baseball cap and he also asked what size shirt I wear. Here it is another weekend and I still haven't received any of the promised deliveries or "extras" for my troubles. I think "overnight air" means they were just sending air. Cause that's exactly what I've received so far.

All I really want is to try this very expensive toy. I was hoping to be able to try it before my shoulder surgery scheduled for next week. If I hadn't already spent the money already, I'm not sure I'd get involved with this dishonest, unreliable and questionable company. I even bought a dozen of their extra arrows. I guess I won't be needing them anytime soon. Anyone got an good (for a disabled hunter) x-bow for sale cheap? I spent my budget on this new form of closet art.

If I ever receive the missing equipment I'll try to update the bow's specifics then.
