RE: Pan-hunting TV HACK!
I don't care for any of these shows, never considered huntin a "spectators sport".
Would I make a 48 yd shot? In an open field broadside or quartering away feeding, you betcha! Practice that far, shoot that far, will hunt that far..but I've have had very few opportunities like that.
On shooting through brush, If I couldn't hit a softball sized hole at 10yds, I wouldn't be huntin at all. I've threaded needles that far...Now, if you heard "clanky-clanky-clank" when this guy shot, well then it was a bad choice and too tangled...Like you said though, we couldn't see the shot from his angle.
As for the follow up in the butt, no way, poor taste to even show it.
