How can foc be the determining factor in penetration? I was taught heavy arrow more penetration, lighter arrow less unless there is a outsert on the lighter arrow then that would give more.
FOC isn't
the determining factor to penetration. It is a
contributing factor. As passthru indicated, weight on the end of the arrow causes deflection. On the other hand weight on the front of the arrow, in effect, gets the arrow to follow the tip.
