lol that cracked me up....perfect practice makes perfect. not saying your like this...im guessing your new to the sport..but i see too many hunters ONLY practicing a month before the season...or only caring if they are "good enough to kill a deer" or in a "pie plate" etc....my one buddy barely ever shoots outside of 15yds!!! he will step back to 25 and 35 once a blue moon and cant hit poop...but he knows that and wont shoot a deer outside 15yds.
im a hunter...and new to the sport....but at my peak this season i was smashing shafts at 35yds to the point i HAD to shoot diffrent spots at 35yds. i busted 3 shafts at 35yds with broadheads..not true robinhoods...but CLOSE.
im not great...but i enjoy shooting and shoot ALOT. takes some time and practice...ive only had my bow half a year.
and anyone that knows me here knows i aint BSing either...thats just what i love to do and i like to be at the top of my shooting game. i put in the time and practice...
youll get there with time. i never been to a 3d. im planning to go this year. im not going till im back ontop of my game though....right now i jsut got back into shooting seriously and only get a day or 2 a week to shoot..but ill get back to my A GAME soon enough..
Mauser,
Been gone for a while. I'm spending time with my kids this evening. Yes, I'm new. I've only been shooting for about 5 months, butI shoot anywhere from 20 to 50 shots every day, usually out to 40 yards, but sometimes out to 70 yards. Since I ALWAYS shoot by myself, I don't know how good I would be alongside someone else. The only times I've been to a range, I was the only one there. I'm headed to a different range tomorrow. Maybe I'll see how I'm doing compared to some target shooters. Yeah, that probably will be embarassing since I'll be sighting in with the new arrows. Oh well, I've entertained people before......
