Default RE: Heavier arrows

the guys are right. if this is a hunting bow who cares about speed?? we know speed doesnt kill and the deer aint gunna know whether they were hit with 330fps of 200fps. im convinced super light carbons wizzing at 300+ fps arent always going to pass through and penetrate as well as a heavier arrow is going to. that heavier arrow is going to carry what it got behind it better than a lighter arrow...even if that lighter arrow is putting out the same KE...the heavier arrow is going to have the edge every time.

worry about accuracy...not speed..if you get caught up into the speed factor youll end up with a headache and alot of money in the toilet.

now if this is a 3D rig and trajectory is important because your shooting for $ or something...then by all means i want a smokin fast bow...that way when i misjudge by a couple of yards im STILL in the X..not a ring or 2 out and loosing points.
