I agree. Now, if you use the BOSS CR (non ported BOSS attachment), you will have the ability to "tweak" a particular load into smaller groups...most times.
With the conventional BOSS muzzle brake attachment, you're going to have A LOT of muzzle blast, A LOT of extra noise, and SOME decreased recoil.
I made the mistake of shooting a BOSS equipped .300 Win. Mag from a box stand and my ears rang for 3 solid days. Shooting from the prone position will cause the ground underneath the muzzle brake to look like some just took chipped a golf ball out of the rough with a pitching wedge.
The noise and muzzle blast isn't as bad of an increase on calibers that are a little more tame like a .308 or 7mm.-08....but if you're looking at one of the magnums out there, you better be willing to wear hearing protection even while hunting or risk loosing some of your hearing!
