Default RE: How do you cluck/cut on a box call

ORIGINAL: JW!

Clucking is a short stroke almost like a pop.......cutting is puting these short strokes together quickly.....

I hold my calls in my left hand paddle facing away from me.I then use my index finger and middle finger and place the paddle handle between each at the first finger knuckle joint.....I find it way eaiser to yelp, cluck, purr and then of course cutt! I also will move my left thumb up and down the side of the box to muffle or make the call louder.

All cutting really is fast clucking. Oh I practice while I listen to the NWTF Wild turkey voices CD as that has cutting on it and so does Lovett Williams real turkeys III.
Thanks JW!, I see you do it the same as I & use a Lynchâ„¢ World Champion Call too!
