Unless your hogs are700 or 800 poundsthen cartridge selection is irrelevant. All of them have exceptional bullets available that will smash through bone and give quick kills.

The .270 isone ofmy absolute favorite cartridges because it can simply do nearly anything asked of it on this continent. I certainly don't consider it a "dangerous game" cartridge and would not use it for thatbut I don't consider the 30-06 and 7mm mag one either.

As far as rifles go the Remington is my choice long before the Browning.
