Default RE: is this child abuse?

well if it is my dad should be in jail beside your cell...he taught me everything he knows about hunting(except maybe a few things hes hiding and maybe a few that i should learn myself) and now im turning 16 and preparing to start hunting alone and bowhunting myself..he bowhunted before and when im picking the tree to put the stand in i can bet he is right beside me pointing me in the right direction if i need the help...i think by now i can do it myself though..he taught me an awful lot for someone who doesnt shoot bucks often...he used to come home all the time when i was little saying how he passed up bucks because they were too small and you cant eat the horns...to this day he passes little bucks(lets me get them for my first buck) and takes a doe instead i now understand that and understand that if he was more patient he would bag the big buck of the woods but he has the patients of a 6 year old...after 2 or 3 hrs hes up and driving for me or we are finding a new spot...but thats ok i learned from his impatience and know its always rewarded...so far the deer and turkeys alway come by right after we leave...or we get busted as we get up and would bagged a big tom if we would stayed 5 more mins...i dont want him to goto jail...i dont feel he abused me in anyway....he broguht me up right if you ask me..id rather be in the woods or on a lake or stream side fishing than anything else...without him i wouldnt know about hunting and fishing...you didnt abuse your boys either...you did the best thing you could and they are probally happy you did if they think about it
