I have a Ruger Super Redhawk in 44mag and love it. The double action trigger on the Ruger is heavier than a Smith but, at least on mine, the single action trigger is quite good. I have fed mine a pretty steady diet of HEAVY hand loads for 7 years and it is still just as tight as new.
