Default Turkeys...the new predator?

Today when I was fencing at my farm I saw the oddest thing I have seen in a long time. I routinely see woodchucks roaming around, then I go get my Remington M700 VSSF II .22-250 and put a 40 grain Ballistic Tip into em'. But today as I saw the firstchuck of theyear, I noticed three hens and what I thought was a jake to its left. They continued to move over towards thewoodchuck until it they were mearly feet from it. It began to waddle away whenall 4 turkeysstarted to chase it and were clucking, putting and just carrying on while theypursuedthe little chuck all over the field. They went backand forth and started to scratch it and peck at it until it fianlly struck back andI believe bit one of the birds. Then it scurried back down its hoel andthe turkeys kept on running aorund the hole for minutes util they moved off when the notcied me walking to the tractor. Does anyone have an explanation, or maybe this just was a freak happening. What ever it was, it was neat and I love to see nature at its best, or worst! Good hunting!
