you know i was weary about putting a metal loop on my bow, but my wife has on on her's and it never seemed to make it louder, so i tried it on mine, and not saying its better, but it treats me just fine and really not noticed a huge drop in fps, or noise. so i guess i will keep it until i find somthing about it i dont like. but works for me.
