Default RE: best grain?

Like the others have said you just have to let your rifle tell you what it likes best.Except for 22's and 17 hmr's I haven't bought a box of factory loads in many many years. But I do get to shoot a few that others are shooting at the range.
If I was looking for a factory load I would start with the less expensive rem core locs and the fed fusion either would make a great deer load if they shot good in your rifle. Then try more expensive rounds if they were not satisfactory for what you are looking for.
A couple weeks ago a young fellow was shooting a new rem with cor-locs,after adjusting the trigger for him he let me shoot a 3 shot group at 100 yds 2 went in the same hole and the other one was allmost touching.
Last year I got a new rem sps in 270 amother fellow was shooting a 270 useing fed fusion and they were shooting pretty good he gave me some to try in my new 270 a 3 shot group went into one small hole at 100.
James gave a sugestion on the blue box federal,I would give them a try since they shot good in his,may be just what you want in yours.
You should find a good load trying different one but anyhow you will have fun trying them.
Now if you were talking reloads I could give a little more help there.
