Default RE: PA Antler restrictions

I still think it is ridiculous. I really don't want to hear out of staters opinions (not trying to be rude at all). The thing is, unless you consistently hunt Pennsylvania, you DON'T know how it is. People can button bucks and tag it with their doe tag. RIDICULOUS! The antler restrictions, if we should even have them, should be set higher. I know that around here, a 4 or 6 point is only a yearling. It is still IMMATURE. There is no point. All it is doing is allowing the better gened young bucks to be shot and not allowing the not so good gened bucks to go for another year, that way they can be shot. Pennsylvania IS a state that if you let a buck walk, 95% of the time, he is going to get shot about 5 minutes later, and that is the truth. We are going to have people shooting the small bucks and leaving them. THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN! Who is going to stop it? We don't have enough Game Commisioners to enforce it at all. Look at it this way, we have a bunch of small bucks, a bunch of those get shot by slob hunters, they leave them there and don't tag them, then those same hunters go out and kill bigger bucks, which they tag. That means that A LOT more bucks are going to be killed. Talk about throwing the buck to doe ratio off.

Good Luck This Season: Buck Magnet
P.S. Only Chuck Adams can sit at home and see deer so get into the woods. =;^)
