The idea of the 3006 disappearing is about as goofy as pretending the 22 rimfire might go away. The only way for these cartridges to go away is if everything goes away. The anti gun bozo's would certainly love to see that, but as long as we can own guns, the 3006 will be here. Then again, 97 years isnt very long, maybe its just a fad and a marketing ploy to try to sell more guns?
