I would ditch the mesh also. I don't use it for turkies, but do on other game, and you are correct, the adders would get messed with shooting through the mesh.

You wont have any problem with getting busted as long as you wear the black and don't have any open windows behind you.

I took 2 birds last week without the mesh, and even called some back right after shooting. You are in for a ton of fun.....

Not to hijack the thread, but on another note. If you don't have any decoys yet, I was very impressed with the montana turkey decoys...Very compact and easy to set up and take down...
