I talk to him again he said the factory weight with out scope and mount was11# the scope and mount he has weight is a bit over a pound. You would not quite need a winch to pull it up in to a tree stand but it was heavy enough I had trouble holding it steady off hand,nothing wlse gives me that problem.Lee
