RE: NEED ASSISTANCE, PLEASE.
jred, my advice is to go to a good archery shop. Your first bow may be the most important. Get an ill-fitting bow, and you may become disinterested, fast. Decide how much you wish to spend and look at what's in your price range. There's no need to spend a big pile of money to get a decent setup. Expect to spend close to the price of the bow for the accessories you'll need. Get something with a minimum 7" of brace height. The axle to axle length will be a personal decision. Longer bows are generally a little easier to learn on. If you find a shop you're comfortable with, ask for recommendations as to accessories. Or better yet, take an experienced friend who can advise you. But be sure to buy what you like and feel comfortable with. Shoot some bows and you should find one that suits you. Good luck, you're gonna love archery.
